Hello Darling Events Policies
Thank you for considering Hello Darling for your event! We strive to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for you and your guests. Please review the following policies for hosting events at our café:
1. Event Days & Times:
- Events can be scheduled as follows:
Mondays: Anytime
Tuesdays: Anytime
Wednesdays: Ending at or before 7 pm
Thursdays: Anytime
Fridays: After 5 pm
Saturdays: After 5 pm
Sundays: After 5 pm
- We will do our best to accommodate your event, but may deny some weekend requests in anticipation of high traffic.
2. Group Size and Rental Options:
- We do not take reservations for small groups (< 12 people).
- For parties greater than 12 people, we offer a half rental. During a half rental, the other half of the cafe remains open to the public.
- Half rental pricing:
- $500 minimum tab for up to 30 guests.
- $750 minimum tab for more than 30 guests.
- The host is solely responsible for the meeting tab requirements. We can accommodate open bar for your guests, or provide you with drink tickets to distribute. We can not do a cash bar to meet minimums.
3. Buyout:
- We only offer a full buyout of the space on Mondays or Tuesdays. If you are interested, please follow up for pricing and more details.
4. Happy Hour:
- We have happy hour Monday-Friday, during which we offer 20% off cocktails, wine, & beer.
5. Food:
- We offer a few snack options:
Charcuterie boards
Locally made focaccia & butter
Locally made soft pretzels & house-made mustard sauce
Mixed nuts bowl
- You’re welcome to bring in outside food. We have small disposable plates and disposable cutlery to provide. Please consult with us if you have plans to bring in food.
6. Live Music:
- We unfortunately can not have any live music or DJs in the space due to the property management’s policies.
7. Deposit:
- We require the event host to put a card on file with the bar staff before/at the start of the event.
8. Gratuity Policy:
- A 20% gratuity will be automatically added to the tab at closeout for all parties.
- If the tab minimum is not met by the end of the event, the difference will be added to the tab to meet the agreed minimum.
